Cache Outfitters implements a buyer's guide to dispel preparedness myths and assist its customers in becoming better prepared.

Too often, good intentions fall prey to hype and poor quality products when shoppers search for emergency preparedness products. To help clear some confusion while advocating readiness, Cache Outfitters, LLC has started to share more than just descriptions of the products it offers by launching a Product Buyer's Guide.

"There is a lot of confusion when it comes to becoming well prepared and what one needs to do or buy to make their family safer," said Mike Koestner, President of Cache Outfitters." We want to consult our customers while avoiding hype, providing facts and being there when they make the purchases that will most benefit their disaster plans. To do this we need to build a library of reference for the products we carry and when possible, provide access to additional sources of information."

The Buyer's Guide has been available via the Cache Outfitters store website for two weeks and initial statistics show that it is having a positive impact on site visitors.

"There is a lot on the line when buying products that will be there for you in bad times," said Koestner. "Our customers need to know what is going to work for them and what is realistic. Being well prepared is just as important as being prepared at all."
